Preferred Experience:

Experience handling Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims is a strong advantage. However, candidates with personal lines or other claims experience are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate claim settlements involving policyholders, insurers, brokers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently to ensure timely, accurate settlements while controlling vendor expenses.
  • Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet individual and collective goals.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to maintain high claims service standards.
  • Represent the company in internal and external meetings, including broker and client reviews, and potentially with London market representatives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing clear and timely communication.
  • Support senior claims adjusters, managers, and underwriters with projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Professional qualifications preferred (ACII or working towards).
  • Proven experience in claims handling.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
