Preferred Experience:
- Experience handling Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims is a strong advantage. However, candidates with personal lines or other claims experience are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate claim settlements involving policyholders, insurers, brokers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Manage your own caseload efficiently to ensure timely, accurate settlements while controlling vendor expenses.
- Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the team to meet individual and collective goals.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers to maintain high claims service standards.
- Represent the company in internal and external meetings, including broker and client reviews, and potentially with London market representatives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing clear and timely communication.
- Support senior claims adjusters, managers, and underwriters with projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Professional qualifications preferred (ACII or working towards).
- Proven experience in claims handling.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
