We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hygiene Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business in Scotland. This is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining exceptional hygiene, safety and compliance standards across a large-scale production operation. This opportunity would suit an established Hygiene Manager or an ambitious Hygiene Supervisor or Team Leader looking to take the next step into a senior leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all site hygiene activities, ensuring cleaning standards consistently meet internal and external requirements.
- Manage, coach and develop a large hygiene team, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Carry out regular inspections and audits to maintain high levels of compliance and operational excellence.
- Work closely with operational teams to resolve issues and minimise risks to production and food safety.
- Review performance data, identify trends and implement improvements where required.
- Ensure all hygiene procedures are completed in line with company policies, food safety requirements and industry best practice.
