Role: Health & Safety Business Partner
Location: Glasgow Area

Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and teams to integrate H&S best practice into daily operations and strategic plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK H&S legislation, guidance, and internal standards.
- Deliver or coordinate effective health and safety training and awareness programmes.
- Lead and support investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and preventative actions.
- Maintain and improve H&S management systems, including ISO 45001 certification.
- Support risk assessments and safe systems of work across operations and engineering.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external agencies.
- Drive engagement through safety committees, communications, and coaching programmes.
- Keep up to date with evolving legislation and best practice, sharing insights across the business.
About You
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered IOSH membership (or working towards).
- Proven experience in a health and safety advisory or business partner role, ideally within manufacturing or a complex operational environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and management systems.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in managing multiple priorities.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and report on H&S performance.
