We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a well established business in the Glasgow area and support the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
  • Monitor project costs and manage cost control
  • Review tenders and negotiate supplier/subcontractor contracts
  • Carry out site visits to assess progress and verify works
  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and contractors
  • Identify cost risks and support project decision-making
  • Maintain accurate financial records and forecasts

Requirements

  • Minimum HND in Quantity Surveying
  • At least 2 years experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
  • Strong knowledge of construction cost management
  • Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Joinery or shopfitting experience beneficial but not essential
  • RICS accreditation advantageous but not essential
