We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a well established business in the Glasgow area and support the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
- Monitor project costs and manage cost control
- Review tenders and negotiate supplier/subcontractor contracts
- Carry out site visits to assess progress and verify works
- Work closely with project managers, clients, and contractors
- Identify cost risks and support project decision-making
- Maintain accurate financial records and forecasts
Requirements:
- Minimum HND in Quantity Surveying
- At least 2 years’ experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
- Strong knowledge of construction cost management
- Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred
- Full UK driving licence required
- Joinery or shopfitting experience beneficial but not essential
- RICS accreditation advantageous but not essential
