We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded care home in the Southside of Glasgow for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants.

About the role:

  • You'll be supporting residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the highest standards of care and dignity are maintained at all times.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to work towards an SVQ qualification if not already held
  • A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team

What's on offer:

  • Full-time (35 hours) and part-time roles available
  • A mix of both early and late shifts between the hours of 7:30am & 9:00pm
  • 2 weekends off in every 4 weeks
  • Set 4-week rolling rota

Pay rates:

  • £13.45 per hour (unqualified)
  • £13.92 per hour (SVQ2)
  • £14.20 per hour (SVQ3)

Benefits:

  • Overtime paid at 25% above base rate (for hours over 35 per week)
  • 28 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time)
  • Enhanced sick pay (1 month full pay, followed by 1 month half pay, then SSP)
  • All meals provided during shifts
  • Ongoing training and support, including opportunities to gain SVQ qualifications
  • Supportive working environment with a strong team culture
