We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering consultancy for a Process Engineer to support tendering and project execution activities across complex process engineering projects. This role offers exposure to design, commissioning, and operational support within regulated, safety-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and heat & material balances
- Perform process calculations and equipment sizing for treatment and injection systems
- Support tendering and project delivery, including technical clarifications
- Work to project schedules, deadlines, and client specifications
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Provide technical support during commissioning and early operation phases
- Apply ISO 9001:2015, risk management, and change control principles
- Participate in health & safety activities and ensure compliant deliverables
- Build evidence towards professional accreditation
Skills and Experience Required
- Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Chemical or Process Engineering
- Professional membership of IChemE
- Experience in process design, EPC, offshore, oil & gas, or water treatment projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
- Proficient with MS Office and engineering software tools
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams
