We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded care home in the Southside of Glasgow for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants.
About the role:
You'll be supporting residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the highest standards of care and dignity are maintained at all times.
What we're looking for:
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to work towards an SVQ qualification if not already held
- A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
What's on offer:
- Full-time (35 hours) and part-time roles available
- A mix of both early and late shifts between the hours of 7:30am & 9:00pm
- 2 weekends off in every 4 weeks
- Set 4-week rolling rota
Pay rates:
- £13.45 per hour (unqualified)
- £13.92 per hour (SVQ2)
- £14.20 per hour (SVQ3)
Benefits:
- Overtime paid at 25% above base rate (for hours over 35 per week)
- 28 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time)
- Enhanced sick pay (1 month full pay, followed by 1 month half pay, then SSP)
- All meals provided during shifts
- Ongoing training and support, including opportunities to gain SVQ qualifications
