We are working with a highly regarded law firm to recruit a talented Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join its established disputes team. You will join a market-leading professional indemnity team acting for major insurers and insured professionals across a broad range of claims. The caseload is varied and high-quality, including:
- Defending professional negligence claims against solicitors, accountants, architects and other professionals
- Coverage disputes and policy interpretation matters
- Complex and high-value litigation in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts
- Managing cases from inception through to resolution
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to sophisticated work, collaborate with recognised specialists, and develop your expertise within a supportive and well-resourced team.
We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- 2–6 years' PQE with experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation, or commercial disputes
- Strong technical ability and confidence handling litigation matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- A genuine interest in professional indemnity and insurance work
- Experience acting for insurers or defence-side litigation is advantageous but not essential.
