A distillery with roots stretching back to the late 1700s, with seven different big name brands in their portfolio. This is a growing, thriving business that is able to keep up with demand.

You will be based near Glasgow in this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, where you will be able to showcase your preventative and reactive approach to machine maintenance. You will thrive in this fast-paced environment where solid communication and problem-solving skills will be the key to your success.

What does the day to day look like?

  • Providing technical input into previous days' performance and concerns for today's performance.
  • Communicate with the Production Team Leader / Senior Operator & Machine Operators prior/post technical intervention.
  • Communicate with Technical Team Leader informing of significant concerns (machine downtime, allocated task completion etc).
  • Ensuring that allocated tasks are completed to an acceptable standard within agreed timescales.
  • Preparation of allocated work orders, to minimise impact on operational performance, whilst ensuring assigned tasks are completed safely and to an acceptable standard.
