HRC are recruiting for experienced support workers in and around East Calder. Whether you are looking for your next permanent role, or even to top up your current hours and gain some extra experience.

What does your day to day look like?

  • Providing emotional and practical support, encouraging the people you support to achieve their own personal goals and outcomes.
  • Accompanying and participating in meaningful activities such as community involvement and relationship‑building exercises.
  • Working within a team, you will be providing support to adults in line with agreed care plans.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, ensuring utmost respect and dignity.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in individual's physical or emotional health, collaborating with the care team for appropriate interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of support provided, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • You are kind, compassionate and empathetic.
  • You have at least 6 months experience working as a support worker in the UK.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport and establish trusting relationships.
  • You like to be on the go and enjoy being busy.
  • You have a valid drivers license.
