We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader on Nights to join our team in a dynamic factory environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation. This position involves heavy lifting, materials handling, and the use of various equipment to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Overhead Crane and other machinery to load and unload steel from lorries.
- Accurately build and assemble pallets for shipping, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Manage inventory using a Factory management system to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking for damages and verifying quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Skills:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a factory setting.
- Competence in loading and unloading goods safely using appropriate techniques.
