HR Toolbox is all about 1:1 HR support that protects your business. We are a growing HR Consultancy start‑up based in Manchester that has a big vision...we're going to fix the UK's HR call centre problem. Above all else, we help people through the power of community. Our customers get the usual HR 999 advice, with best practice and commercial options no matter what. We also go further than HR 999, by helping our customers create an awesome place to work! All of that delivered on a 1:1 basis, with as much as possible written for our customers; there's absolutely no generic templated HR support with us.

This is a very exciting part‑time remote UK based role, paying up to £15k depending on experience. You’ll be working 3 days a week 10am to 2pm initially on a fixed term with a view to becoming permanent. You’ll also get a stakeholder pension, good holidays and a great wellbeing and benefits app!

We’re needing someone to own our HR policies and documents, being sure to capture our tone of voice. You’ll also be advising our customers with low and higher‑risk HR queries on demand and where needed, go further and help them create an awesome place to work! There is a lot to do with us and we’ll be looking to you for ideas on how we can gradually improve our customers’ experience through our processes and/or our technology. This is very much a sleeves‑rolled‑up can‑do role, with lots to improve over time.

About You

You’ll have a good deal of senior level delivery experience in the outsourced HR advice & consulting space and be awesome at developing and deepening strong & trusted relationships with your colleagues, our customers and our partners. You will be well used to owning and deciding investigations, hearings, appeals and up to higher‑risk change projects for small, medium and potentially large UK customers. You’ll have a good practical understanding and real‑world experience of what a brilliant and constantly evolving hiring‑to‑leaver experience looks like. You’ll probably have a 2:1 degree and a level 7 CIPD qualification in Strategic Human Resources Management, but if you don’t, no worries, we’ll be more focused on you, your knowledge, your experience and how all that fits with the role we’ve got. You’ll be very used to and be totally comfortable working in a business that’s focused, fun, totally trusting and where the end point isn’t always known.
