West Midland Safari Park are currently recruiting for VIP guides to join our team. The VIP guide team play a key role in raising awareness and knowledge of wildlife conservation to our special very important guests who have booked a variety of VIP experiences. These allow the guests to get a closer and personal view of our amazing animals. The VIP guides also deliver our keeper for the day experiences so the role will also include some husbandry work within our wildlife animal areas.
About you
The role requires someone who is confident, customer focused, motivated and enthusiastic about wildlife conservation and has excellent communication skills. You will require good wildlife knowledge and be confident when interacting with the guests and looking after their needs. Due to driving in animal restricted areas you will hold a full, valid Driving Licence. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends and bank holidays. Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS formerly CRB). This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
