About us:
Home Service Group was established in 2024, bringing together a network of established, family-founded plumbing, heating, electrical and property service companies operating across the South of England. Each business has built its own strong reputation over many years. The group was created to unify these companies under a shared vision, combining deep technical expertise and trusted service with group-level standards, systems and centralised account management.
Today, the group delivers consistent, high-quality property services across residential homes, schools, managed estates and commercial portfolios, offering the reliability of a larger organisation alongside the responsiveness of established local teams. As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same: to strengthen our network, invest in better systems and technology, and provide dependable service at scale for every client and partner.
We are looking for a commercially focused Business Development & Relationship Manager who will take ownership of winning new business and developing strong, long-term customer relationships. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with prospective customers, develop tailored service proposals and convert opportunities into new accounts and revenue.
Job Role:
- Take ownership of the sales process from initial prospecting through to securing new customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the property and estate agency sector.
- Build strong relationships with prospective customers and understand their individual requirements.
- Sell the company's plumbing, heating, maintenance and wider property services.
- Develop tailored commercial proposals and quotations, working with operational and technical colleagues where required.
- Lead negotiations and confidently overcome objections to secure new business.
- Clearly communicate the company's services, capabilities and points of difference.
- Maintain consistent follow-up and ensure opportunities progress through the sales pipeline.
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and account growth.
- Achieve agreed new-business, revenue and account-growth targets.

- Proven experience in business development, sales or relationship management.
- A confident, personable and commercially focused approach.
- Strong ability to build relationships and develop new business.
- Comfortable prospecting, making approaches and converting opportunities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised, persistent and disciplined with follow-ups.
- Target-driven with a genuine desire to win new business and grow accounts.
The Benefits:
- Generous commission.
- Company events.
- On-site parking.
- Opportunity for progression.
