MKROT is seeking a compassionate, experienced Waking Night Support Worker to join a supportive, hands-on family in Sevenoaks, Kent. This rewarding role involves providing one-on-one care to a child with complex disabilities during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight supervision and support in the family home
  • Monitor the child\'s health and wellbeing
  • Administer medication as required
  • Deliver personal care and support with feeding
  • Maintain a consistent and calming bedtime routine
  • Monitor oxygen saturation levels and respond to health needs
  • Use the online platform Log my Care to complete detailed daily notes
  • Work collaboratively with a kind and involved family

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years\' experience supporting individuals with complex disabilities
  • Proven experience in waking night shifts
  • Skilled in supporting individuals with:
  • Epilepsy
  • NG Tube feeding
  • Medication administration
  • Monitoring oxygen SATs
  • Confident working in a family home setting
  • Outgoing, proactive, and compassionate personality
  • Must be a driver due to rural location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 2 Health and Social Care
  • Up-to-date mandatory training in:
  • Epilepsy
  • Medication administration
  • Nasogastric tube feeding

Pay

  • £18.50 per hour – Weekdays
  • £20.50 per hour – Weeknights
