We’re looking for an experienced, forward‑thinking Head of HR/HR Director to work for our client in a role that will see you lead their small HR team and help shape the future of their organisation. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the Executive Team, you’ll drive culture, performance, and strategic growth across the business. This is a high‑impact role with regular Board exposure—perfect for a confident HR leader who thrives in fast‑paced, professional environments.

Duties include:

  • The full HR lifecycle, employee experience, and workplace culture
  • Strategic HR planning, performance management, and succession pipelines
  • Delivery of engagement initiatives, L&D programmes, and company‑wide events
  • HR team leadership and collaboration with Group HR colleagues
  • Implementation of modern HR processes, including tech solutions
  • Payroll accuracy, HR systems, and high‑quality data management
  • Reward strategy, benchmarking, and benefits optimisation
  • Complex employee relations matters
  • HR reporting for senior stakeholders, investors, and the Board

What they’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ HR generalist experience in a Head of/HRD capacity in a fast‑paced corporate environment
  • Experience in financial services/asset management or professional services essential
  • A track record of driving organisational change and shaping strong culture
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong organisational capability with a resilient, solution‑focused mindset
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law
