If you’re an immediately available HRBP with solid experience in a commercial environment, we have just been instructed on an FTC (6 months initially) that could be perfect for you. Our client is a growing and dynamic international law firm with offices across EMEA and APAC. Due to an internal change they have an immediate need for someone to join their team of senior HRBPs, initially on a 6-month contract, but that could be extended.
Focusing on the business support functions within the firm (predominantly UK-based) you will play an active role in the strategic planning of these teams, working closely with the senior stakeholders, directors and other key personnel. Key duties include:
- Take ownership and lead on strategic projects and initiatives across the business unit.
- Lead on ER cases, planning and prevention strategies. Actively review and revise their ER policies and procedures.
- Advise stakeholders on everything from resourcing strategies and plans, to internal succession planning.
- Be a subject matter expert for HR policy guidance to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support and contribute to the development of the wider HR strategy.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to help drive collaboration and improvements.
- Examine, evaluate and utilise data insights to identify human capital priorities and address potential future needs.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to line managers so that they have the appropriate skills toolkit to manage their reports.
- Work with the Reward Manager to complete the annual salary review process.
What they are looking for is an experienced HRBP, ideally from another law firm or similar professional services company who wants to be part of a supportive and dynamic team. You will need to have experience of challenging the status quo, and looking at the strategic side of HR Business Partnering, not just the BAU. A strong demonstrable background leading on complex ER matters is essential.
