We are proud to recruit on behalf of our Quedgeley based client who specialises in spectacle lens manufacturing and supply.

No previous experience is required for this role as full training will be provided, all you need is to be keen to learn,

IT literate, and possess a friendly nature.

This is a role in a fast-paced environment, which requires you to stand for long periods. Candidates should be able to lift 10-20kg on occasion.

Key Duties

  • Assist with manufacturing processes in your area.
  • Ensure that all plant equipment is maintained to manufacturers recommendations and the cleanliness and general housekeeping within your department is of the highest standards.
  • Be an advocate for following health and safety guidelines and encourage colleagues to follow these.
  • Monitor product standards and escalate issues to the Glazing Manager..
  • Ensure optics are produced on time and at the right quality.
  • Ensure all quality control documentation is completed.
  • Help achieve consistent and stable delivery times to our customers.
  • Report any shortage of stock or consumables on time and to the Glazing Manager.
