HR Star are proud to be recruiting a

Quality Administrator , for our Quedgeley based client, Norville. Established in 1898, Norville are the UK's longest-established spectacle lens manufacturer.

The Quality Administrator will be responsible for performing standardised quality control checks on manufactured products to ensure they meet legal and company standards for safety and quality. They will also be responsible for the maintenance of calibrated test equipment and identify areas for quality control improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Quality Manager to deliver ISO9001 excellence and certification.
  • Updating of the Quality and Procedure Manuals.
  • Involvement in production test & inspection activities and resources.
  • Assisting the Quality Manager where necessary
  • Supporting production to improve quality
  • Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control and production processes

About you

  • Some experience of working in a Quality role preferred but not essential
  • Being respectful and courteous to customers and colleagues.
  • High levels of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good standard of written and spoken English and Maths.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Efficient, effective and with demonstrable attention to detail.
  • Open and honest attitude.
  • Ability to delegate, motivate, train, and inspire others.
  • Demonstrate a passion and commitment to service excellence.
