HR Star are proud to be recruiting a Laboratory Management Technician for our Quedgeley based client, Norville. The Lab Management Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal production processes within the business and will work to align the lab management software with the production requirements to optimise the process.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with multiple departments to ensure efficient and effective production processes. The role holder will be required to analyse data and communicate their findings and so will have strong analytical skills and be an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding of surfacing, coating, and glazing to configure the Lab Management system to design high quality spectacles
  • Work closely with production staff to align the Lab Management software with production requirements
  • Work with IT department to communicate backend requirements
  • Recommend improvements to maintain production integrity, consistency, and quality
  • Understanding of LensWare’s production controls and systems
  • Prepare reports concerning downtime, equipment repairs, and delays
  • Provide analytical reports for the identification of opportunities to increase production
