HR Star are proud to be recruiting a Graduate Search Consultant on behalf of our client, that specialises in Executive Recruitment within the Private Equity and Investment Banking industries.

With over 30 years of experience, our client focuses on a number of niche markets within Private Equity and Investment Banking that have a positive impact on society.

These include

  • Infrastructure and Renewables Private Equity
  • Real Estate Investments
  • Debt & Credit Investments
  • Sustainability, ESG and Impact led Investments

Partnering with leading global financial institutions such as Barclays, Santander, and Legal & General Investment Management, their clients are predominately based in London but the company also has long standing relationships across Europe and North America.

The successful candidate can expect to travel to London 1-2 times per month to meet with clients, with the possibility of international travel should you wish to be involved in global projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to start their career in a progressive company, working on projects with global leaders within the Private Equity and Investment Banking industries, and a chance to earn £80,000 OTE by year 3.

Search Consultants will be put through a two week induction program , where you will be trained on:

  • The Executive Search sector and how we are different to traditional recruitment firms
  • The Investment Banking and Private Equity market
  • How to engage with external clients and candidates

You will then work closely with one of the Directors and support the team by generating new candidates within our specialist markets.

You will be focused exclusively on the candidate space for 6-12 months before being promoted to a full consulting role where you will have responsibility for your own business and clients.

  • As an Entry Level Search Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Sourcing relevant candidates for existing mandates using our candidate system, existing relationships and Linked In
  • Map out target teams and relevant organisations across our chosen market verticals
  • Market candidates effectively to the team at Stem7 Executive Search
  • Qualify candidates, understand their motivations and suitability for existing and future assignments
  • Build a pool of Investment Banking & Private Equity candidates globally
  • Generate leads and potential new business through lead generation (candidates, job boards etc)
  • Represent Stem7 Executive Search with complete professionalism at all times
  • Be a positive energy in the office
  • Meeting candidates in London 1 or 2 days per month
  • Travel to Europe and New York can be part of the role for international searches (members of the team have visited Madrid and New York in recent months)
