Are you an experienced internal sales or Customer Service professional who enjoys being hands-on while also supporting and developing others? We’re looking for an Internal Sales Team Leader to join our client’s team in Cheltenham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong customer service and commercial sales skills with the confidence to take day-to-day responsibility for a small internal sales function.
You’ll manage inbound sales activity, handle customer enquiries, quotations and orders, while providing leadership and support to a Sales Administrator.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive a responsive, accurate and commercially focused service from initial enquiry through to delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the sales inbox and responding to inbound customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Understanding customer requirements and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Preparing accurate quotations and proactively following up opportunities.
- Processing and progressing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and clear communication.
