Reporting to: Director of Operations and Communications
The role: Our client is hiring for a part-time Membership Engagement Manager, to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will work directly with the Director General and Director of Operations and Communications to increase membership, retain existing members and to generate sales and sponsorship opportunities and income.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Develop a strong knowledge of the IIC’s activities, membership base and the wider community
- Identify and research potential members to generate leads
- Schedule, arrange and attend meetings with current and potential members, with the Director General, where necessary
- Follow up from meetings supplying further information where needed
- Identify, negotiate, and secure sponsorship opportunities and income
- General engagement with members and non-members
- Support with the management of IIC Future Leaders Competition
- Work with Director of Operations and Communications to develop and execute a Commercial Program
- Work with Digital Marketing Executive to produce and distribute marketing content to include campaigns eg International Women’s Day, event promotion and build brand awareness
- Represent the IIC at external events to promote membership

Person specification:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a membership organisation, involved in marketing, recruitment lead generation and closing deals to generate income
