We’re working with a well-established optical practice that is looking to recruit a Contact Lens Optician to take ownership of their contact lens service. This is a part-time opportunity (2–3 days per week), ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and is confident managing their own clinic. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality contact lens fittings, aftercare and ongoing patient support.

The Role

  • Deliver contact lens fittings and aftercare appointments
  • Provide advice on lens types, usage, and eye health
  • Manage and develop the contact lens clinic within the store
  • Build strong relationships with patients to encourage retention and growth
  • Work closely with the wider team to support overall store performance

Requirements

  • Qualified Contact Lens Optician (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of contact lens products and services
  • Confident communicator with a patient-focused approach
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of the department
  • Motivated and commercially aware
