About the Role
HR Recruitify is proud to recruit on behalf of a leading local authority for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner (Operational Services). In this key role, you will provide strategic and operational HR partnering across council departments, translating organizational objectives into effective people plans and influencing senior decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnering: Work alongside department managers to align business goals with high-performance workforce plans.
- Organisational Development: Lead complex workforce changes, TUPE transfers, restructuring, and strategic project delivery.
- Employee Relations & Advisory: Provide expert guidance on complex casework, employment law, mediation, and policy interpretation in line with GDPR.
- Data & Workforce Insights: Utilize HR analytics to spot trends, manage risk, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Inclusion & Wellbeing: Support equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives, serving as a Wellbeing Lead across the council.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Fully CIPD qualified (Associate Level 5/Level 7 or equivalent degree) with substantial practical HR experience.
- Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to coach leaders, manage performance, and build resilient teams.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of employment legislation, TUPE, succession planning, and workforce development.
