HR Recruit is partnering with our industrial client for a stand-alone HR opportunity. The role will report into the HR Director (based overseas) and will work closely with the UK Senior Leadership Team. The organisation is an SME in the UK but it is part of a larger international organisation.
Responsibilities
- Advise and guide employees and managers on a range of HR matters.
- Contribute to talent acquisition processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and job offers.
- Own and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Promote a positive work environment that enhances employee engagement and development, initiate training programs and workshop activities aligned with business needs.
- Represent the organisation in contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and fostering constructive employee relations.
- Maintain accurate employee data and records using the document management and HR systems and assure compliance with GDPR policies.
- Keep up to date with and ensure that payroll regulations and tax laws are followed and coordinate payroll activities.
Qualifications
- Ability to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business goals.
- At least 4 years previous HR experience.
- Hands-on approach and the ability to balance operational support with local and company HR projects.
- Good and up to date understanding of employment law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect easily with people.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
