HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced training/learning and development professional to join a newly formed HR team in this expanding organisation. Reporting into the Head of HR, you will have the opportunity to shape the training/L&D function as the organisation continues to grow. You will be developing and delivering high quality training that will drive improvements in service delivery to meet the needs of our organisation.

Role Responsibilities

  • To develop and deliver high quality engaging and informative training sessions and workshops
  • You will need to be responsive to improvements in legislation, responding to learning from inspections, audits and feedback as well as ensuring that training is up to date.
  • To develop and deliver the induction and on boarding programme, following up with new employees on a regular basis throughout their induction period.
  • Managing the NVQ programme, organising peer group learning sessions and ensuring mandatory NVQ training is completed on time.
  • Provide support to managers to ensure performance and development objectives are met.
  • To build and establish, develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • You will need to be highly organised, professional and approachable offering high support and high challenge to the practitioners and their teams when sharing areas of strengths and areas of learning.
  • You will need to be able to evidence a sound knowledge of local and national policies and procedures and keep up to date with research and good practice.
  • A recognised professional Qualification (Minimum BTec/NVQ) in Training, Learning and Development.
  • Experience in delivering First Aid training
  • Experience in delivering Safeguarding training

You will need to be able to travel to local sites to deliver training.

In return, you will receive a salary of between £38,000-£40,000 circa.
