We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, a passion for fresh produce, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. This role involves traveling within an assigned territory to identify new business opportunities, nurture existing accounts, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow revenue and market share within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, restaurants, and food service providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer visits, provide product knowledge, and offer tailored solutions based on customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working with retailers or food service providers - required
- Previous experience with pricing strategies and seasonal trends in fresh produce sales – required
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the fresh produce, food, or FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
- A passion for fresh produce and knowledge of industry trends.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
Compensation details:
- Salary of £28,000-32,000 per year with commission structure (salary negotiable – depending on experience)

Working Hours:
We are open 7 days a week and this role will involve you working 5 days a week. Monday – Friday / 08:30 – 17:00 (some flexibility required).
Wholegood is based in a Warehouse in Greenford, West London.
