This is a part-time hybrid role for a Joinery CAD Technician based in Bradford, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Joinery CAD Technician will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings (including conversion of client design drawings to .dxf files) for bespoke joinery projects. Additional responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal teams to interpret client specifications
- Ensuring designs meet manufacturing capabilities
- Maintaining high standards of precision and quality in all drawings
- Supporting the production team with technical clarifications as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software, with the ability to create detailed drawings and technical documentation
- Technical Support skills, including an understanding of design specifications and manufacturing requirements
- Experience with Operating Systems, Computer Maintenance, and Troubleshooting as they relate to CAD and design software functionality
- Experience in joinery, furniture design, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and materials is a plus
- Detailed understanding of furniture manufacturing techniques
