The Role:
The role will be as a consultant employed under rpc UK, working as part of a project with one of rpc\’s client\’s, a European premium automotive OEM. In the position, together with a number of other rpc consultants, you will work embedded within the European premium automotive Network Digitalisation department. You will work in various projects and initiatives within the organisation, with a focus on:
- Dealer management systems new feature testing and roll-out coordination.
- Third party suppliers and retailer network support.
The role will involve project management support, problem and ticket solving, testing, document creation, training support.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete end-to-end project management to support on-going projects and developments of the digital sales platforms, processes and sales tools.
- Development of new initiatives in conjunction with Sales & Finance departments to support business requirements, as well as managing relationships with 3rd party development agencies.
- Daily online sales channels error checking, testing, problem resolution, issue management and fault rectification / escalation to ensure continuous availability of digital sales platform.
- Provide dynamic project management and stakeholder alignment with relevant experience to support ongoing projects and developments. Ability to communicate clearly and escalate when relevant.
- Regularly align with key Marketing, Sales and Financial Services stakeholders within the client organisation on relevant performance, initiatives, and support topics. Attend regular development and progress meetings with development agency confirming and prioritising requirements as relevant.
- Omnichannel business development focus: Develop & support initiatives to drive additional sales through online channel. Identify and set-up initiatives to increase performance of omnichannel sales teams.
- Support on new sales model strategy design and planning from a short, medium and long-term perspective together with the client project managers. Requirement to support in testing of digital sales platforms for new sales model in order to ensure solution is suitable for UK and IE market.
Person Specification:
Professional experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business development desired:
- B2B and B2C sales
- Consumer industry (preferably within Automotive)
- Project management & coordination
Education:
- Bachelor degree in business or related preferred
Other:
- Valid driving license required
- Pension scheme with employer contributions.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with 2 extra days after 5 years\’ service.
