Finance Office Manager Roydon, Essex Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday Roydon Packaging is a well-established manufacturing business and we’re looking for an experienced Finance Office Manager to take full ownership of the finance function and support the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone confident working independently in a busy environment. The Role You will manage all aspects of company finance, payroll, and associated office and HR administration, acting as a key support to the leadership team. Key Responsibilities Sales and purchase ledger management, including credit control Monthly management accounts (P L and Balance Sheet) VAT returns, accruals, prepayments and year-end processes Daily banking, payment runs, and reconciliations Monthly payroll using Sage Line 50 Payroll and HMRC submissions Liaison with auditors, pension providers and insurers HR administration including contracts, employee records and systems General office management and ad-hoc administrative support About You Minimum 2 years’ experience using Sage Line 50 (Accounts Payroll) Strong Excel skills Excellent organisation and attention to detail Comfortable managing a broad, standalone role Professional, reliable and hands-on AAT qualified, working towards AAT, or holding a similar qualification is desirable but not essential Experience in manufacturing or a small business environment is desirable but not essential.
