A growing national organisation within the property and services sector is expanding its in‑house HR function and is now looking for an HR Advisor to play a key role in supporting managers and colleagues across the business. This role sits at the centre of employee relations activity, providing practical, informed and balanced advice that supports both people and the organisation. You’ll work closely with managers, helping them navigate people matters with confidence, fairness and consistency.

It’s a hands-on advisory role, well suited to someone who enjoys managing complexity, building strong relationships and making a real impact on the employee experience. The role is based at head office in Ringwood, with some travel to other sites as required.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for a wide range of employee relations cases
  • Managing complex and high-risk ER issues independently and professionally
  • Advising managers on employment law, internal policy and best practice
  • Supporting organisational change activity, including consultation and TUPE processes
  • Identifying trends and themes in ER cases and feeding insights back into the business
  • Interpreting and applying HR policies consistently and fairly
  • Contributing to the development of policies, guidance and manager toolkits
  • Building manager capability through coaching and ER-focused training
  • Producing ER data and reports to support decision-making
  • Supporting continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working

About you:

This role would suit an experienced HR Advisor who is confident, pragmatic and people-focused. You’re likely to bring:

  • Proven experience managing complex and sensitive ER cases end to end
  • A solid, practical knowledge of UK employment law
  • The confidence to influence and advise managers at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A calm, balanced approach that blends empathy with commercial judgement
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, and experience using an HR system

Given the national footprint of the organisation, access to a car and a full UK driving licence are required.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive basic salary
  • 24 days’ annual leave, plus the option to buy or sell holiday
  • An additional day off for your birthday
  • Pension contribution and life assurance
  • Health screening and wellbeing support, including an EAP
  • Discretionary sick pay
  • Investment in professional development and learning
  • Recognition schemes and additional reward benefits

This is a strong opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys employee relations, values quality HR practice and wants to be part of a business that is evolving and growing.
