12 month FTC supporting ER change & transformation programmes in a well-known Financial Services business. We’re looking for an Employee Relations Change Specialist to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract and partner with our change and transformation teams, embedding employee relations at the heart of organisational design and restructuring.
Working closely with People Projects, Strategic People Partners, and transformation leads, you’ll shape ER strategies early in change programmes, ensuring risks are managed, decisions are fair and compliant, and delivery is efficient.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with People Change and Strategic People Partners to embed employee relations into change initiatives from design to delivery, engaging key stakeholders within the People Team and the wider business.
- Lead ER input into People Impact Assessments, identifying risks early and influencing decisions to balance commercial, legal, and colleague outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on high-risk ER matters, including restructuring, consultations, and union and employee forum engagement.
- Standardise ER approaches across change programmes, simplifying processes to enable efficient and scalable delivery.
- Use ER data and trends to inform decision-making and proactively address potential risks.
- Build confidence in leaders and HR partners to manage ER effectively during change, reinforcing clear ownership and accountability.
- Ensure consultation and implementation activities are well-structured, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline ER activities within change programmes through digital tools and automation.
