Own and improve UK recruitment delivery, leading key hires, building talent pipelines and reducing reliance on agencies.
This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for leading recruitment activity across the UK operation. You will take ownership of recruitment delivery, whilst building a more proactive, efficient and data-led approach to resourcing. Working closely with senior leaders and HR colleagues, you will help shift the business towards greater direct sourcing capability and clearer recruitment governance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end recruitment activity across all UK functions
- Personally manage senior, specialist and business-critical hires
- Develop workforce plans in line with operational and strategic priorities
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to reduce reactive hiring
- Reduce agency spend through direct sourcing and improved processes
- Design, implement and embed consistent recruitment standards
- Line manage and develop a small resourcing team
- Produce clear recruitment metrics and insights to inform decision-making
- Experience operating at Recruitment Manager or senior in-house recruitment level
- Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- A strong process mindset, with experience improving hiring practices
- Demonstrable success moving recruitment away from heavy agency reliance
- Previous people management experience
- An analytical, outcomes-focused approach to recruitment
- A genuine commitment to fair, inclusive and professional candidate experience
