Part time CNC Milling Machinist (Setting, Programming and Operating). My Client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Setter/Programmer/Operator who is looking to reduce their hours or still wants to maintain a few days working in a trade they love. This company will give you the opportunity to work with a wide range of components in a well-established foundry environment.

Key Details:

  • Working hours: 06:45 - 17:00
  • Location: Chard
  • Pay: £20.00 per hour DOE
  • Job type: Part Time - 2 day week (Tue, Wed) with option of overtime (after 39 hours) / additional days
  • Reports to: Foundry Operations Manager

About My Client: My Client is a long-established foundry supplying ferrous and non-ferrous castings to sectors including power generation, engine components, oil & gas, marine, pumps and compressors, construction, rail, agriculture and architecture.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate CNC milling and some vertical turning lathes with G-code and Fanuc controls
  • Set and operate machining centres up to 4-axis with G-code controls
