HRGO Recruitment is seeking a reliable and dedicated School Cleaner to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The School Cleaner will work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure that all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas of the school as assigned
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean and sanitise restrooms
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and other areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects occasionally
- DBS required (or subject to clearance)
