Commercial Assistant Location: Winsford Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday days, 37.75 hours per week Salary: £25,500-£31,000 per annum depending on experience An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Assistant to join a successful and growing business in Winsford. This role would suit someone with experience in estimating, costing or commercial administration who is looking to develop their career within a busy commercial environment. The Role: Working as part of the Commercial team, you will assist with the preparation and pricing of tenders and quotations for new business. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing working drawings and scaled plans to establish accurate measurements Completing quantity and material take-offs Preparing detailed pricing information using Excel Supporting the preparation of quotations for customers and clients Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider team Ensuring pricing and documentation are accurate and issued within agreed timescales Identifying practical and cost-effective solutions Managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy The candidate: We're looking for someone who is numerate, organised and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail. You should have: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Previous experience in estimating, costing, pricing or a similar commercial role Experience with drawing/take-off software would be advantageous Excellent organisational and time-management skills The ability to work accurately when dealing with detailed information A proactive approach to problem-solving Confident communication and administration skills The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment What's on Offer?
