Salary: Up to £34,000 + quarterly bonus (based on business performance)
Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30, alternate Fridays 08:00-13:00 / 08:00-16:00
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays (extra days added for long service)
About the role
We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our production team, manufacturing high-quality products in a safe, efficient and well-organised environment. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you'll be involved in metal fabrication, general production work, assembly and some local driving duties.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out metal fabrication work including:
- Guillotine cutting
- CNC press-brake folding (press-brake experience ideally)
- Notching and punching components
- MIG welding
- Grinding, assembly and fitting (certified personnel only for specific tasks)
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a fabrication / metalwork / production environment
- Press-brake experience ideally (CNC press-brake operation)
- MIG welding experience desirable
- Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards and deadlines
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety in a workshop environment
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Full UK driving licence (for van driving duties) preferred
