A skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator is required to join a well-established Essex based engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacture of high-quality catering equipment.
It is essential for candidates to have experience welding stainless steel down to 1.0 mm and a good understanding of engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG welding on stainless steel.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship in the fabrication of sheet metal components.
- Metal finishing, polishing, etc.
- Work from detailed engineering drawings to meet project specifications.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards in the workplace.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in stainless steel TIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Any welding certifications (coding) would be an advantage but not essential.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM to 4.30 PM with excellent overtime opportunities.
