About the Role
HRGO Recruitment's client is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This hands-on role supports the production process, including handling raw meat, packaging, and preparing orders for dispatch. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety while gaining the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle raw meat, maintaining quality and hygiene standards.
- Prepare and package products for dispatch, including working in freezer environments.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety regulations.
- Support the team to keep production and warehouse operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- Physically fit: able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25kg.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team or independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling and packaging products.
- Flexible and willing to undertake training and additional tasks.
- Own transport recommended due to remote location.
- Previous experience in food production or warehouse operations.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP principles, and safety procedures.
