HRGO are seeking a hard-working and dedicated Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client on the outskirts of Canterbury. You will play a crucial part in preparing and loading orders for retailers, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety rules. Due to the location, having access to a vehicle is preferable.

Details

  • Location: Chartham, Canterbury
  • Starting Hourly Rate: £12.90 (Overtime after 48 hours)
  • Hours: 5 days a week, two shifts available (Morning from 8 AM, Afternoon from 12 PM)
  • Start Date: Beginning of October

Responsibilities

  • Conduct barrow checks before starting work and document any faults.
  • Manage stock by ensuring minimum date items are used and labels are correctly ordered.
  • Pick and strap pallets as required and confirm order accuracy with load plans.
  • Perform temperature and hygiene checks on vehicles according to SOP.
  • Ensure loads are secured and maintain a clean and safe dispatch area.
  • Achieve daily targets and contribute to team success.

This is an ongoing temporary role which can lead to permanent for the right candidate. A proactive approach, flexibility, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
