Salary: £35,000 per annum + £2,000 OTE
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am-1:30pm (40 hours per week)
Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager or Team Leader looking for your next challenge? Have you successfully led a major change in a warehouse environment, such as implementing a bar code system? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client\’s dynamic team, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient running of assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch activities.

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Warehouse Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch, ensuring efficient workflows and meeting customer shipping expectations.
2. Team Leadership: Provide training, mentorship, and scheduling for staff to ensure a safe, productive, and well-organised work environment, with a focus on effective conflict resolution.
3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement waste-reduction strategies, and optimise storage processes.
4. Quality and Compliance: Ensure goods meet high-quality standards, uphold safety protocols, and maintain regulatory compliance through ongoing training and regular reviews.
5. Vendor and Client Coordination: Manage consignments, resolve discrepancies, and handle returns, ensuring professional communication with vendors and clients.

What we are looking for:

1. At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
2. Proven experience in change management, ideally including barcode system implementation.
3. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and order processing.
5. Flexibility with duties and working hours during peak periods.

Qualifications:

1. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of the role.
2. Ideally hold a Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
