Hours: Full-Time | Permanent | 12-hour rotating shifts
We're looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Flintshire. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, installations, and continuous improvement to ensure maximum plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair faults on Siemens PLC-controlled equipment (S7/TIA Portal).
- Work on automation systems, VSDs, sensors, HMIs and control panels.
- Install, modify and commission electrical equipment.
- Support continuous improvement and minimise production downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety and electrical standards.
About You
- Experience fault-finding on Siemens PLCs (S7/TIA Portal).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Able to read electrical schematics and use CMMS systems.
