HRGO Recruitment are currently working with a well-established organisation, who are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Team Leader to join their Contact Centre operation in Boldon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on leader to manage a small sales team, focused on generating high-quality appointments for a national field sales team.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Executives, ensuring they generate qualified appointments through a mix of inbound enquiries and outbound activity. Alongside managing performance, you'll play a key role in improving processes, driving results, and maintaining strong internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting a team of circa 4 Sales Executives
- Driving team performance to achieve daily and weekly appointment targets
- Monitoring inbound enquiries (calls, emails, web leads, live chat) and outbound activity
- Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and conversion rates
- Handling escalations and supporting day-to-day team queries
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing teams
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a sales, telesales, or contact centre environment
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong coaching and people management skills
- Ability to motivate a team and drive performance against targets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
