Our client is a family-run business based in Martock, Somerset. You will join a small, friendly office team of around five people, supporting a busy and varied operation in a dog-friendly office.

Our client is seeking a Part-Time, permanent Office Admin Support to assist the office team during busier periods. This role is ideal for someone organised, reliable and customer-focused who enjoys varied admin work in a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to customer email enquiries
  • Updating systems/spreadsheets
  • Send booking confirmations and maintain accurate customer, booking and supplier records
  • Assist with logging invoices, expenses and payments
  • File and maintain electronic and paper records
  • Produce and format simple documents, letters and emails
  • General office tasks including photocopying, scanning, post and ordering basic supplies
  • Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the team
Skills and experience:
  • Previous office/administration experience (ideally 1+ year)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with numbers and schedules
  • Highly organised, able to manage and prioritise your workload
  • Comfortable working in a small team and willing to help where needed
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused
  • Comfortable working in a dog-friendly office
  • Familiarity with booking systems or CRM databases
  • Basic understanding of invoices and simple bookkeeping processes
Terms and conditions:
  • Permanent, part-time, term time only
  • Hours: Approx. 5-6 hours per day, 5 days per week (flexible within normal office hours by agreement)
  • Working pattern: Around 35-36 weeks per year (aligned to busier operational periods)
  • Pay: £13 per hour (paid monthly)
  • Location: Office-based role in Martock, Somerset
  • Holiday: Pro rata based on hours worked
