HRGO are delighted to be exclusively supporting our Ashford based client in their search for a Sign Fitter to join their established team.
Job Purpose
To safely and professionally install, maintain, and remove a wide range of signage (internal, external, illuminated, non-illuminated, banners, vinyl graphics, etc.) at client sites, ensuring work meets company standards, health and safety regulations, and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Install, fit, and maintain signage including: shop fronts, fascia signs, totems, post-mounted signs, vinyl graphics, banners, and vehicle graphics.
- Operate tools, access equipment, and machinery (e.g., drills, MEWPs, ladders) safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Carry out site surveys, measurements, and assessments prior to installation.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and finish on all installations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including use of PPE and safe working practices.
- Load, transport, and unload signage materials and equipment to and from site.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and colleagues professionally on site.
- Complete relevant paperwork, such as risk assessments, site reports, and timesheets.
- Assist in the workshop with fabrication or preparation of signage when required.
