Job Title: Shot Blaster
Location: HX1, Halifax
Rate: £13-£14 per hour
Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Mon-Thurs 6am-2.30pm (30min lunch), Fri 6am-1pm, overtime at 1.5 after completing 39 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
* Blast, clean, and prepare metal surfaces accurately and efficiently
* Set up and adjust blasting equipment, selecting the correct nozzles for each job
* Carry out routine checks and maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly
* Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
* Always follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
* Proven knowledge of shot blasting equipment, including various nozzles
* Previous experience in a shot blasting role is essential
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
* Able to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines
* Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work for extended periods
