Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: 12‑hour shifts, 4 on 4 off (Days/Night rotation)
Employment: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment in an FMCG factory.
- Diagnosing and fixing faults in machinery to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Collaborating with the production team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Applying technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations while maintaining work standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Electrical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, 18th Edition or Equivalent)
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure production environment
Desirable Skills:
- Basic experience with PLC systems such as Allen Bradley or Siemens
- FMCG / Fast Moving Factory Experience
- Injection moulding or plastic experience could be beneficial
- SAP Experience
